Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan with the Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On July 23, 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan B.Rejepov and the Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in charge of customs matters E.Birzhanov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the customs and tax spheres, including developing interaction between relevant agencies, as well as strengthening transit, transport, and trade-economic cooperation between the two countries.

The prospects for intensifying the exchange of delegations between the competent authorities of the two states to discuss issues of mutual interest and exchange best practices were also touched upon.

Following the meeting, mutual interest in further expanding cooperation and continuing interaction on issues of mutual interest was confirmed.
