Meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan with the President of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On July 10, 2026, Ambassador Batyr Rejepov met with the President of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rustam Bayaliev.

 Ambassador extended to R.Bayaliev an invitation to participate as an honorary guest in the World Championship and beauty contest among akhal-teke horses, which will be held from September 4 to 6, 2026 in Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

During the meeting, the parties discussed developing cooperation in equestrian sports, preserving and promoting national horse breeding traditions, and prospects for joint activities.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of the Akhal-Teke horse breed, which is a national treasure of the Turkmen people and recognized throughout the world for its unique qualities. The sides noted the important role of equestrian sports in strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in further developing cooperation and maintaining regular contacts between relevant organizations of the two countries.
