WORKING VISIT OF THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN TO THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

In accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.G. Myatiev is on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On September 2, 2022, a meeting of the Turkmen delegation with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.B. Konuspaev was held in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In its course, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields.

The positive experience of interaction between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within the framework of various international organizations, including the UN, CIS, ECO, OIC and others was emphasized.

The importance of visits at the highest and high levels in the promotion of interstate relations was noted. The need for further expansion of the legal framework of bilateral cooperation was expressed, including the timely holding of political consultations in accordance with the current Program on cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries for the period 2021-2023.

The diplomats also discussed the possibility of expanding scientific and educational contacts, as well as cooperation in the field of medicine and healthcare.
