On the meeting with the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for Relations with the Countries of Central Asia

On 24 May 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a meeting with the Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for Relations with the Countries of Central Asia Viktor Maiko.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of cooperation between the two countries in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, as well as cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The parties reiterated their commitment to further development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Ukraine, both bilaterally and within international organizations, primarily the United Nations.
