The President of Turkmenistan Received the Head of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.

On June 29, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Kenji Sanada, Vice President of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd., who was visiting our country.

Expressing his gratitude for the time, the businessman noted that it was a great honor for him to be received by the head of state. Taking the opportunity, the guest warmly congratulated the President of Turkmenistan, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen People and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, on this significant date – the anniversary of Arkadag, the region's first "smart" city.

Highlighting the enormous contribution of Hero Arkadag to the socioeconomic development of our country and the enhancement of its international prestige, the businessman asked the head of state to convey his heartfelt congratulations to the National Leader of the Turkmen People on his birthday.

Thanking for the kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that during the businessman's visit, negotiations would be held on areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.

 Taking the opportunity, the head of state wished the vice president of the renowned Japanese company a productive visit, expressing confidence that it would give new impetus to the further strengthening of the bilateral partnership.

As emphasized, relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, based on principles of mutual respect and support, are long-term and strategic in nature.

Noting the significant contribution of Japanese partners to realizing our country's economic potential, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that for many years, large companies from the friendly state have successfully implemented projects in Turkmenistan's gas and chemical industries.

Effective cooperation has also been established with Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd., with whom they have accumulated extensive experience working together in various fields. Expressing sincere gratitude for the trust placed in him and the opportunities created for effective operations in the promising Turkmen market, Kenji Sanada assured the company that it will continue to strictly fulfill its contractual obligations.
