The Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan held negotiations

On December 11, 2025, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the festive celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Fatherland.

After warmly welcoming the leader of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of state thanked him for accepting the invitation to the International Forum to be held in Ashgabat. It was emphasized that Kazakhstan's participation at the highest government level in the Forum demonstrates support for Turkmenistan's neutral policy and its special attention to cooperation with our country.

Thanking for the hospitality, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of holding this Forum in Turkmenistan. Taking the opportunity, the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan warmly congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted his warm memories of his recent state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, which once again confirmed the fraternal nature of the interstate dialogue. Taking the opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan once again thanked the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for awarding him the prestigious Order of “Altyn Kyran”.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reaffirmed the two countries' commitment to further developing comprehensive cooperation and expressed their best wishes to each other.
