The President of Turkmenistan was awarded the highest award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Altyn Kyran Order

On November 25, 2025, during President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, a ceremony was held to award President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the highest award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Altyn Kyran Order (Golden Eagle).

During the ceremony, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the special role of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov as a prominent statesman and wise leader who consistently strengthens Turkmenistan's statehood, socio-economic potential, and international standing.

"You are confidently continuing the strategic, future-oriented course of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the highly respected Arkadag Gurbanguly Myalikgulyevich Berdimuhamedov," said the President of Kazakhstan.

The Head of the friendly country specifically highlighted President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's efforts to enhance Turkmenistan's international prestige and strengthen its status as a center of diplomacy, peace, and stability. As emphasized, this is vividly confirmed by the UN General Assembly's declaration of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," at Turkmenistan's initiative.

Noting the Head of state's personal contribution to strengthening friendship, mutual understanding, and strategic partnership between the fraternal countries, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that the successful implementation of the agreements reached during the current talks will open a new page in the annals of Kazakh-Turkmen relations, and awarded the Head of state the highest award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Altyn Kyran Order.

Expressing his deep gratitude to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of fraternal Kazakhstan for the honor of awarding him the highest award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Altyn Kyran Order, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that he views this award as a sign of high respect for the people of Turkmenistan and a testament to the strong friendship and good-neighborliness that have united our peoples for many centuries.

As noted, our countries demonstrate a high level of mutual understanding, solidarity, and mutual support in addressing important issues on the regional and global agenda.

Both countries are working together systematically to build the potential of economic partnership across a wide range of areas. They have also accumulated extensive experience in cooperation in education, science, culture, and other social areas.

Having once again expressed his sincere gratitude for the award of the Order of Kazakhstan "Altyn Kyran," the Head of state wished President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev good health and great success in his national and international endeavors, and wished the fraternal people of Kazakhstan peace, happiness, well-being, and prosperity!

Following the award ceremony for President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to the applause of those gathered, the Heads of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan signed a Joint Statement.
