Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Eswatini discussed bilateral cooperation by phone

On October 17, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Eswatini Pholile Shakantu.

During the conversation, the sides discussed issues related to the development of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Eswatini.

It was emphasized that political dialogue and high-level contacts significantly contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.

In this context, the meeting of the President of Turkmenistan and the King of Eswatini in the framework of the Third UN Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3), during which diplomatic relations between the two countries were established, and the talks within the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly were emphasized.

The sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation within international organizations, primarily the UN.

The Foreign Ministers discussed issues related to the organization of the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held in December 2025 in Ashgabat.
