MEETING ON DISCUSSING THE PROJECT OF THE AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION IN CONDUCTING SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS IN THE CASPIAN SEA HAS STARTED IN THE MFA OF TURKMENISTAN

On January 30, 2020, the second meeting of the authorized representatives of the Caspian states on the discussion of the project of the Agreement between the Governments of the Caspian States on Cooperation in Conducting Search and Rescue Operations in the Caspian Sea has started in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The experts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, including the specialists of the MFA of Turkmenistan, the Institute of the Caspian Sea, as well as the “Türkmendeňizderýaýollary” Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan are taking part in the meeting.

Considering the results of the activities for the previous period, the participants continued the discussion of the project by each article. The given document is aimed to enhance the collaboration of the Caspian states in conducting the search and rescue operations in the Caspian Sea.

The meeting of the authorized representatives of the Caspian states on agreeing the text of the project of the Agreement between the Governments of the Caspian States on Cooperation in Conducting Search and Rescue Operations in the Caspian Sea will continue tomorrow, on 31st of January.
