Turkmen-Mongolian Business Forum was held in Ashgabat

On October 12, 2024, the Turkmen-Mongolian Business Forum was held in the capital, designed to promote the development of business ties between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the fields of trade, economics, healthcare, transport and logistics, agriculture and processing industry.

The forum was attended by representatives of various ministries and departments of the two countries, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as heads of private companies from both sides.

It was noted that today there are great opportunities for the development of Turkmen-Mongolian relations in the agro-industrial complex. Fundamental changes are being carried out in the agro-industrial complex of our country, the industry is being modernized and innovative technologies and modern scientific achievements are being introduced into its work.

The participants of the business forum also discussed other promising areas of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention, along with the intensification of trade and economic cooperation, was paid to the exchange of experience. Representatives of Mongolian business structures emphasized the importance of establishing direct contacts between private companies of the two countries.

In addition, the possibilities of implementing joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy were considered. Speakers from the Mongolian side reported on the positive impact of Turkmenistan's reliable legislative framework on ensuring the effective work of foreign partners in the country.

Thanks to the constructive initiatives of Hero-Arkadag, today, under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, work continues to create import-substituting industries, increase the export potential of the Fatherland by increasing the range of products that are in great demand on the world market. The meeting participants emphasized the need for mutual exchange of experience in order to introduce highly effective advanced technologies.

The parties expressed confidence that the current business forum will add dynamicss to the development of Turkmen-Mongolian relations.
