Turkmen-Argentine political consultations were held via videoconference
On October 3, 2024, the third political consultations between Turkmenistan and the Argentine Republic were held via videoconference at the level of heads of structural divisions of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
At the meeting, the parties assessed the current state of bilateral relations and analyzed the prospects for further cooperation in key areas such as trade and economic cooperation, education, culture and tourism.
The meeting participants confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation within the framework of international organizations such as the United Nations and expressed their intention to maintain an open dialogue to explore new areas of cooperation.
During the consultations, the parties also discussed issues of cultural exchange, including the possibility of organizing joint events and programs to strengthen ties between the peoples of both countries.
The Turkmen side proposed to hold the next political consultations, as well as organize a Turkmen-Argentine business forum in 2025 in Ashgabat. At the same time, it was proposed to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
The above proposals received a positive response from the delegation of the Argentine Republic.
