Ambassador of the USA in Turkmenistan presented the copies of credentials

On July 31, 2024, a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America in Turkmenistan, Ms. Elizabeth Rood was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, Ambassador Elizabeth Rood presented copies of her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

The parties emphasized the traditionally friendly nature of bilateral ties. Political-diplomatic relations were discussed. The opportunities of deepening the partnership in trade-economic sphere, as well as the issues concerning the implementation of current and prospective projects in cultural-humanitarian field, were considered.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan wished to Ambassador Elizabeth Rood success on  responsible diplomatic post.
